International Art competition for Childrens by Global Art India

The mega event in Hyderabad, held for the first time in India, receives overwhelming response from students in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, US and Vietnam

Hyderabad, November 27th , 2010: Global Art India, a unit of SIP Academy India Pvt Ltd., today organized the 7th edition of Kolor Champ International Competition – 2010, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad. This is the first time that the International Kolor Champ competition was held in India. The theme for the competition was ONE WORLD.

Global Art India is staking a claim in the Limca Book of Records – for the 1st International Art Competition in India with participants from 8 countries.

The contest was aimed at testing the creative skills of more than 750 children across eight countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, US and Vietnam in the age group of 5 to 15 years. Children from Andhra Pradesh, New Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu represented India.

The Chief Guest for the morning Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Secretary of Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh declared the competition open and stressed on the importance of art and creativity for the overall development of children.

Speaking on the sidelines of the mega event, Mr. Dinesh Victor, Managing Director, SIP Academy India Pvt. Ltd said, Global Art India is proud to be the host of the 7th International Global Art Competition. We at Global Art believe that developing creativity in children is crucial to their success in all walks of life. In today’s competitive world, creativity will differentiate the winners from the also -rans.

Global Art is an accredited international creative art programme which develops creative thinking while developing drawing & colouring skills in children. This programme is run in more than 20 countries and more than 1, 50,000 kids worldwide have benefited from it. The programme also helps children develop higher levels of creativity, observation, concentration, self expression and confidence along with their creative and artistic skills.
